Student Co-Op Program

Student Co-Op Program

Craig Schmid
"During my co-op experience I used many techniques, skills, and modern tools that are important for an engineering career. I had to use 3D modeling almost every day starting with tutorials and fixing existing parts, and working my way up to making advanced assemblies, complex drawings, and my very own parts. While modeling, I found myself using methods learned from past classes to keep my designs practical from an engineering standpoint."

Bert Duran
"I was given the chance to work on a variety of projects with both BAT and Sure-Way Teams and observed a variety of aspects of machine design, from the design phase all the way to the assembly of the project. Being able to work on a project from start to finish has been an awesome experience and has helped me gain great pride in my work...My internship at Thiele Technologies has definitely increased my interest in pursuing my career in the machine design area."
