The 1575 Poly Bag Inserter is a fully automatic machine which separates a bag from a roll of perforated and sealed poly bags, opens the bag, inserts it into a bottom-sealed case, and cuffs the top of the bag over the vertical top flaps of the case. Included is the following:

The two-station OmniStar Automatic Bag Handling/Reforming System is designed to select empty bags from a bag magazine, automatically place them on a fill spout, fill bags with product from an overhead scale system and consistently reform the tops of the filled bags.
Features standard with this unite include full length clear polycarbonate access doors with interlocks for safety, a powered empty bag magazine, bag transfer mechanism, Allen-Bradley PLC controlled with operator touchscreen that displays menus and diagnostics for ease of operation, bag pick-up mechanism, 'No bag/No product' switches, automatic bag reject system (for bag that is misplaced in fill station), transducer vacuum source, mechanical linkage in discharge spouts that does not allow product spillage upon air loss, bag filling in bypass, pre-charge and and anticipated mode, positive bag containment and positioning in the infeed station, and shakers/settlers in the fill stations.

1575 Poly Bag Inserter

The Model 4420 Automatic Case Erector/Bottom Sealer is designed to select a knockdown case from a vertical stack, positively open the case with opposing suction cups, tuck/plow and apply hot-melt adhesive to the bottom minor flaps, fold closed the major flaps, while compressing the minor flaps with ​RAM, and allowing the glue to set. This fully-automatic machine includes the following:

Servo Beverage Packer

This unit is an automatic intermittent cartoner for glued flap cartons, which can run at speeds up to 40 cartons per minute. It features a parallel infeed conveyor that can be retrofitted to come from either way. ​This machine includes the following:
  • 10-foot infeed conveyor constructed of mild steel with infeed buckets
  • The rotary carton setup has three pick and place vacuum heads
  • Powered, 4-foot horizontal magazine with a vibrator and photoeye to detect low carton level in the magazine
  • Product is loaded into the carton with a pneumatic or servo driven arm with a pusher face. A pneumatic cylinder lifts the arm after the load stroke to clear incoming product, returns to the load position, and is lowered
  • Nordson glue tank with two hoses and guns
  • A-B SensaGuard RF guard door interlock switches

The Servo Beverage Packer features a servo-coordinated axis motion control drive system, with hot melt closure system. Cartons are erected by a rotary carton setup unit, and product is loaded into the carton. If no carton is present, the cans can be rejected. The minor flaps are tucked closed, glue is applied and the major flaps are plowed closed. Cartons are discharged through side compression belts. This beverage cartoner can handle 12 and 24 packs (including Fridge Pack). This machine includes the following:

​Series 4600 Aero-Seal Closer

The Series 4600 Aero-Seal Closer is designed to close and seal the top of stepped-end, multiwall (PBOM) bags after the filling operation.  The unit activates the pre-applied adhesive on the stepped-end and fold over the top to seal the closure. 

Features standard with this unit include a crank adjustable elevating mechanism for height adjustment, built in auto tuning temperature controller, removable heater nozzle and folder blade, electronic heater control with LED readout, interlock switch on the front cover and an air safety switch to prevent damage to the air heater during an air pressure loss and tongue and groove compression belt design for ease of tracking. This machine includes the following:
